What to Know

Pre Inspection Check List

Check Electrical Panel is accessible with 3 feet of clearance in front.

Check HVAC units are accessible and not blocked.

Check Water Heater is accessible and not blocked.

All attic entry points need to be accessible and not blocked especially if there are stairs that pull down for entry.

Have all items removed from Microwave, Dish Washer and sinks for proper checking of units and drainage.

Have items removed from under sinks for proper checking for drainage leaks.

Please do not lock thermostat so can be tested and adjusted. Thermostat will be placed back on original settings when complete.

Check for accessible walkway in garage for checking of garage door eye sensors and opening button.

Reminder: Inspectors are not permitted to move objects for inspection.
